Spatial Brand Design

The new BLACKYAK collection for 2017/2018 was presented in Munich at the ISPO in February 2017. The large mountains are once again used as the brand recognition on the booth. The 10 meters wide and 21 meters long stand is organized into three functional areas. Selected pieces of the collection are shown in the abstracted mountains of the exhibition. Through the arrangement and the material selection, the fair visitors are given only specific insights into the stand design.
The apparel is embedded in an abstract mountain silhouette, wrapped with cords - the black ones symbolize rock and the white ones snow. In other displays the cords form the supporting structure of the mannequin, aiming to hint at the use of climbing rope in mountaineering.
The enhanced backwall of the booth is made out of triangular, LED backlit single components. It does not only stand for the development of the brand, it also features the colours of the new collection.
